AN ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Subparagraph (2) of Section 51-21-6, of
the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to
height regulations in Business "B-3" Districts.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Subparagraph (2) of Section 51-21-6 of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to height
regulations in Business "B-3" Districts, be, and the same hereby is,
amended to read as follows:

"(2) . The maximum height of a billboard or a freestanding
sign of any type shall be 25 feet or one panel above grade,
but in no instance shall the height of the sign or billboard
exceed 25 feet above the grade of the front sidewalk or Vw
property line grade."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the
inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publi-
cation.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
30th day of September , 1969.
