Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Section 682 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to the appointment of deputies,
clerks, assistants, etc. in the office of the City Treasurer, as
amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners
December 29, 1914.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 682 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City of 1913, relating to the appointment of deputies, clerks,
assistants, etc. in the office of the City Treasurer of Salt Lake
City, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners
Deoember 29, 1914, be, and the same is hereby amended so as to read
as follows:
SECTION 682. The Board of Commissioners may appoint and
employ the following deputies, olerks, assistants and employees
in the office of the City Treasurer of Salt Lake City, at
salaries not to exceed the amounts stated, to-wit:
One deputy treasurer; $1800.00 per annum;
One special tax clerk; C1500.00 per annum;
One special abstract clerk; C1500.00 per annum;
One assistant abstract clerk; 01200.00 per annum;
One collector of water rrtes; 41500.00 per annum;
One collector of special taxes; 41500.00 per annum;.
One clerk; C1080 per annum;
One stenographer; C1080.00 per annum; and
such other employees as may be necessary for the proper conduct
of said office. The persons so appointed shall be paid in

monthly inetallments.
The Board of Commissioners may require of the pereons so
appointed a bond for the faithful performance of their duties,
and the faithful accounting for the moneys received by them,
such bond to be in suoh amount as the Board of Commissioners
may determine.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
�publioation.
