AN ORDINANCE Result AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3428 of ARTICLE V of tiie Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, by adding in and to said section a new Item to be known as Item 4, which ordinance relates to the regulation for the installation of oil burning equipment. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 3428 of Article V of the Re- vised Ordinances of Salt Lake City,Utah, 1944, be and the same is hereby amended by adding in and to said section a new Item to be known as Item 4, which relates to the regulation for the in- stallation of oil burning equipment, which shall read as follows: "ITEM 4. Any person authorized by the ordinances of Salt Lake City to do so may, during the present heating emergency caused by the shortage of coal in Salt Lake City, and after the publication of this ordinance, install oil burning equip- ment and oil storage equipment in any building in said city for the purpose of heating such building by first submitting to the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City a detailed plan of such proposed installation of oil burning equipment and oil storage equipment and first receiving from saiu Cow- missitn their approval of such installations and by install- ing such oil burning equipment and oil storage equipment in compliance with said approved plans; provided, however, that it shall be unlawful for any person to use or cause to be or oil storage used any such oil burni_ng installations after the termination n of the present heating emergency caused by the shortage of coal in Salt Lake City unless said oil burning equipment and -2- E oil storage equipment complies with and are installed in ac- cordance with the Code providing for such installation of oil burning gquipment and oil storage equipment as is adopted in the first three paragraphs of this Section 3428 of the Salt Lake Ct*y ordinances. Any person violating any of the terms or provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor punish- able as provided by the ordinances of Salt Lake City.” SECTION 2.
