AN ORDINANCE AMENDING BILL NO. 77 of 1959, relating to levying
a tax and the assessment of property for Curb and Gutter Extension No. 283.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION I . That Bill No. 77 of 1959, relating to levying a tax
and the assessment of property for Curb and Gutter Extension No. 283, be,
and the same hereby is, amended by adding thereto Sections 4 and 5 to
read as follows:
"SECTION 4. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, Utah, it is necessary to the peace, health
and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this
ordinance become effective immediately."
"SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, Utah, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of
the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
as of September 2, 1959.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect as of September
2, 1959.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 3rd day of November, 1959.
