AN ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Subsection (3) of Section 51-24A-2 of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to special
conditions applicable to signs in Commercial "C-4" Districts, by adding
thereto a new paragraph (j) .
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Subsection (3) of Section 51-24A-2 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to special conditions
applicable to signs in Commercial "C-4" Districts, be, and the same
hereby is, amended by adding thereto a new paragraph (j) to read as
follows:
„*
"(j) Where a sign projects up to two feet from the face
of the building as allowed in paragraph (a) of this section,
no copy shall be approved on the side portion of any such
sign."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah, it is necessary to the health, peace, and welfare of
the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
30th day of September , 1969. 7
