Result _—AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 51-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to zoning and fixing the boundaries of
Use District.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1 . That Section 51-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to zoning and fixing boundaries of the Use
Districts, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding in and to said
section a new paragraph to be known as Item 15, as follows:
"ITEM 15. The following described real property in Residential
'R-6' and Business 'B-3' Classifications, as shown on the Use
District Map, Is hereby changed to Commercial 'C-2' classification
and the Use District Map is hereby amended and changed accordingly.
Beginning at a point which is 165.0 feet North 0 degrees
3 minutes 34 seconds West from the southwest corner of Lot 107,
Glendale Park Plat 'A' of Section 10, T.1 S., R.i W., S.L.B. and
M., thence North 89 degrees 55 minutes 56 seconds East 270.0
feet, more or less, to a point in the west line of Lot 3, Block
4, Plat 'A' , Glendale Gardens; thence North 2 degrees 21 minutes
11 seconds East 2075 feet, more or less, along the west side
of said Glendale Gardens Plat 'A' to the south side of CWL
Drainage Canal No. 1; thence northerly 66.0 feet more or less to
the southwest corner of Lot 39, Glendale Gardens Plat 'H' ;
thence North 1 degree 24 minutes 56 seconds East 30.41 feet;
thence North 4 degrees 26 minutes 06 seconds East 262.35 feet;
thence North 1 degree 47 minutes 29 seconds East 47.0 feet more'
or less to the south line of Lot 50, Glendale Park Plat 'A' ;
thence south 89 degrees 55 minutes 56 seconds West 560.0 feet
to a point 190.8 feet west from the southwest corner of Lot 51 ,
said Glendale Park Plat 'A'; thence North 0 degrees 03 minutes
34 seconds West 866.33 feet more or less to the south side of
Ninth South Street; thence south 89 degrees 53 minutes 01 seconds
West 119.45 feet; thence south 14.85 feet, thence northwesterly
5.7 feet more or less to the west side of Lot 25, Glendale Park
Plat 'A'; thence south 0 degrees 03 minutes 34 seconds East
3262.0 feet more or less to the north side of a Salt Lake City
street; thence south 29 degrees 54 minutes 10 seconds East 90.0
feet more or less to a point 165.0 feet north of the north side
of California Avenue; thence north 89 degrees 55 minutes 56
seconds East 270.0 feet more or less to the point of beginning."
That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered to show
the above described tract of land as part of Commercial C-2 District
Classification.

SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is
necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants ofSalt Lake
City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 12th day of July , 1960.
