Mr-Chairman - AN ORDINANCE Result - - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 192 and repealing Section 193 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1980, relating to meat inspection. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION I. That Section 192, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 1921 Carcasses of veal or spring lambs which have not been killed under government or Salt Lake 9 City inspection may be admitted into the city, but before being sold shall be inspected and passed by an inspector of the Board of Health. The regulations governing meat inspection of the United States department of agriculture in so far as the same are applicable, shall be the standard government meat inspec— tion in Salt Lake City, except as otherwise provided in this chapter. SECTION 2. That Section 193, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, be and the same is hereby repealed. SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, it is necessary for the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of said city that this ordinance become effective immediately. Si. SECTION 4.4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication. Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this Lday of _ __, A.
