'T AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALLEY west of 15th East Street,
\° running south from Logan Avenue for a distance of 131 feet.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
''-i '�~`-'_h SECTION I. That alley west of 15th East Street running
, ij south from Logan Avenue for a distance of 131 feet, more particu-
i,) - dM larly described as follows:

}1. Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 49, Block 1,
Emerson Heights Addition of Block 11, 5-Acre Plat C, Big
s3ti Field Survey; running thence south 106.0 feet, thence
,.a South 45 degrees West 35.35 ft. to the southwest corner
of said Lot 49, thence east 37.02 feet, thence north 131.0
feet, thence west 12.37 feet to the ppint of beginning;
being part of Lot 10, Block 11, F. M. Lyman Jr.Ts Survey
of Sec. 16, T. 1 S., R. 1 E., S. L. B. 1 M.
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be pub-
lic property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to the rights of
way and easements of the Utah Light & Traction Company and the Moun-
tain States Telephone & Telegraph Company acquired under franchises
from Salt Lake City to maintain, repair, alter and replace the elec-
/ trio transmission, distribution of telegraph and telephone circuits,
lines, wires and poles of said companies, together with the necessary
stop cross-arms and other attachments thereoh or affixed thereto for
the support of said electric telephone and telegraph lines, wires
and distribution circuits as now erected and maintained upon or across
the portion of said streets to be closed, during the life of the
franchises held by said companies, or any extensions thereof.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
