Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Sart Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 1602 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944., relating to the city cemetery, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 1602. SALARY. CITY SEXTON. The city sexton shall receive a salary of not to exceed $2400.00 per annum, payable monthly, as are the salaries of other city officers, and shall be entitled to live in the residence at the city cemetery, rent free. The board of commissioners may employ such other persons at the city cemetery as may be necessary, at such salaries as may be designated by said board." SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, 9 it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhaoi;anis or Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 3.
