AN ORDINANCE VACATING an alley running west from 3rd West Street, 143.0 feet north of Paxton Avenue. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That a 14 foot alley running west from 3rd West Street, more particularly described as follows, be, and the same hereby is, vacated and declared no longer to be public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way: Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 5, Block 6, Davis Sharp and Stringer's Subdivision of Lots 1, 19 and 20 and part of Lots 2, 3 and 4 of Block 24, 5 Acre Plat "A", Big Field Survey; thence west 97.38 feet along the south line of a 14.0 foot wide alley, to the east right of way line of Utah State Road Commission (1-15); thence northwesterly to a point in the north line of said alley, said point being 99.66 feet west and 14.0 feet north of the point of beginning; thence east along the north line of above alley 99.66 feet; thence south 14.0 feet to said point of beginning. Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description now located in, on, under or over the confines of the above described property, and also subject to the rights of entry thereon for the purpose of maintaining, repairing, replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and all of them.
