II AN ORDINANCE . • An ordinance levying a tax and for tee assessment of property an the west side of State Street between Second South. Street and Victoria Alley, in Sidewalk District No. 9, for the construction of a sidewalk. Be it ordained. 15y the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: 2 SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy tee tax and provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described abutting on the west sine of State Street between Second South Street and Victoria Alley, in Sidewalk Di-trica No. 9. This tax is levied to defray the e.x ence of eonstructinr; a sidewalk upon said portiono f sc.id street opposite the property here-- inafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said , improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with. the linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street fronting upon and to • a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said Lareels of land is one thousand one hundred and ninety and 48/100 01190.48) dollars, or four and 81/100 04.81) dollars per front or linear foot, and the Treasurer I is hereby authorized and empowered to assess in accordance with the. provisions of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned, all of lot 6, and the north half of lot 7, block 57, plat "A", Salt Lake i City Survey as the same are shown upon the official plats of the 1City to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back from said street.
