An ordinance confirming the assessment upon the property
hereinafter described on both sides of Virginia Street between
Second and Fourth Avenues, on both sides of Alta Street between
Second and Fourth Avenues, on both sides of Third Avenue between
Virginia and Alta Streets, and on both sides of Fourth Avenue
between Virginia and Alta Streets, in Sidewalk District No. 42
(Sidewalk Extension No. 189), for the construction of cement
(concrete) sidewalks.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the assessment list made by the City
Treasurer, as correoted, approved and completed by the Board
of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, sitting as a board of
equalization and review, of the property in Lots 1 to 25,
inclusive, Block 6; 25 to 48, inclusive, Block 5; 25, Block 11,
Popperton Place Subdivision; 1 to 24, inclusive, Block 5; 25 to
48, inclusive, Block 4, Popperton Place Plat "A" Subdivision,
all in Section 33, Township 1 north, Range 1 east, Salt Lake
Base and Meridian, and in part of said Section 33, Township 1
north, Range 1 east, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, abutting on
both sides of Virginia Street between Second and Fourth Avenues,
on both sides of Alta Street between Second and Fourth Avenues,
on both sides of Third Avenue between Virginia and Alta Streets,

and on both sides of Fourth Avenue between Virginia and Alta
Streets, in Sidewalk District No. 42, of Salt Lake City, for
the purpose of constructing concrete sidewalks upon said portions
of said streets, is hereby confirmed, and the asseaaments made
and returned in said completed lists are hereby confirmed.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect one day after
its first publication.
