AN ORDINANCE VACATING alley between Cope Street and 26th
East Street and running north and south from Redondo Avenue in
Salt Lake City, Utah.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That alley between Cope Street and 26th Fast
Street and running north and south from Redondo Avenue in Salt Lake
City, Utah, more particularly described as follows:
Alley running south from Redondo Avenue.
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 4, :"locl, 11,
Amended s axtended Plat of Laurelhurst, a subdivision of
part of Clock 5, 5 Acre Plat 'J', Big Maid Survey, and
part of Sec. 15, T.
1 -., R. 1 _., S. L. D:i ; running
thence south 100.0 .L't.to the southwest corner of Lot 1, said
Block and subdivision; thence west 8.0 ft. to the southeast
corner of Lot 74, Laurelhurst, a subdivision of part of Bock
5, 5 Acre Plat ,C', _Dig .Field Survey, and part of Sec. 15,
T. 1 S., P. 1 E., S.
L. 3 M.; thence north 100.0 ft.;
thence east 8.0 ft. to the point of beginning.
Alley running north from Redondo Avenue.
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 7, BI.ock 11,
Amended and Extended Plat of Laurelhurst, a. subdivision of
part of Hleck 5, 5 Acre Plat 'C', Big Field Survey, and
part of Sec. 15, T. 1 S., R. 1 E., S. L. L. 3 M.; running
thence north 330.0 ft. to northwest corner of Lot 19, said
Clock and subdivision; thence west 16.0 ft. to the northeast
corner of Lot 33, said block and subdivision) thence south
44.0 ft. to the southeast corner of Lot 33, said block and
subdivision; thence east 8.0 ft. to the northeast corner of
Lot 75, Laurelhurst, a subdivision of part of Block 5, 5 Acre
Plat 'CI, Big Field Survey, and part of Sec. 15, P. 1 S.
R. 1 E., S. L. B. <.. T,7.; thence S. 286.0 ft. to a point 68.0
ft. south of the northeast corner of Lot 74, said Laurelhurst;
thence east 8.0 ft. to the point of beginning;
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be pub-
lic property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing
rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every
description now located in, on, under or over the confines of the

thereon for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, repairing,
replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and all
of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the T,oard of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
