AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 51-31-2 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to the amendments to the official
street map.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 51-31-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to the amendments to the official
street map, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
Sec. 51-31-2. Amendments to official street map. The
following official maps are adopted as amendments to the official
street map of Salt Lake City:
(1) Official map of Salt Lake City No. 1. Proposed street
widening of 300 West between 9th South Street and 21st South
Street.
(2) Official map of Salt Lake City No. 2. Location of North-
South Freeway thru Salt Lake City.
(3) Official map of Salt Lake City No. 3. Proposed street
widening of California Avenue between Redwood Road and 900
West Street with the extension to 13th South Street at 800 West
Street.
(4) Official map of Salt Lake City No. 3B. Proposed extension
of California Avenue from a point 700 feet east of Redwood Road
west 7300 feet to West City Limit Line.
(5) Official map of Salt Lake City No. 5. Location of proposed
widening and extension of 13th East Street from 27th South Street
to City Limits.
(6) Official map of Salt Lake City No. 9. Proposed widening
and extension of 17th South Street from a point 429 feet east of
900 West Street to Redwood Road.
(7) Official map of Salt Lake City No. 9A. Proposed widening
of 17th South Street to a point 1100 feet West from 300 West
Street.
(8) Official map of Salt Lake City No. 9C. Proposed widening
of 17th South Street from Redwood Road to Pioneer Road.
(9) Official map of Salt Lake City No. 10. Proposed widening
and extension of 4th South Street between Jordan River and
Redwood Road and extending 4th South Street to 5th South Street
from Redwood Road to a point 500 feet West of Orange Street.
(10) Official map of Salt Lake Citt No. 13. Proposed widen-
ing of 2nd Avenue between State Street and Canyon Road.

widening of Redwood Road from North Temple to 1000 North Street.
(12) Official map of Salt Lake City No. 17. Proposed
widening of 5th South Street from Orange Street to the West

extension Southwesterly of 500 South Street to 700 South Street
and extended west to intersect with the location of 4000 West
Street south of the Salt Lake City 1!Iw iBil.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publi-
cation.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
3rd day of July , 1974.
