91 of 1903 - Ordinance 91 of 1903 – Sidewalk Extension No. 45. AN O RD INANC . An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property on the wrest side of State Street between Second South. Street and Commercial Avenue, in Sidewalk District No. 9, for the construction of a sidewalk. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described abutting on the west side of State Street between Second South Strset and Commercial Avenue, in Sidewalk District No. 9. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a sidewalk upon said portion of said street opposite the property here- i inafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcel of land is hereby assessed at an equal ano. uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therofvom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcel of land is seven hundred and sixty-seven and 88/100 ($767.88) dollars, or four and 86/100 04.86) dollars per front or linear foot, and the Treasurer is here- by authorized and empowered to assess in accordance with the provi- sions of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned, the south 158 feet of the north 198 foot of lot 1, block 70, plat "A", Salt Lake City Survey, as the same is shown upon the official 'plats of said City to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back from said street.
