This tax is levied to lefray the e4.;e'ise of providing for
the operation, maintenamco and patrolling of arc lcmps (said lamp3

dated the 29th day of October, 1921, which is the date service
began, said levy to date and be effective from October 29, 1921,
and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to
assess in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance, for the
purpose herein mentioned:

the north 117.75 ft. and the west side of the south 37.25 ft. of
Lot 3, Blk. 39; the east side of Lot 1, the east side of the south

Blk. 40; the east side of the south 117 ft. of Lot 1, the east side
of Lot 6 and the east site of the north 132 ft. of Lot 7, B1k.51;
the west side of the south 179 ft. and the west side of the north
86 ft. of Lot 4 and the west side of Lot 5, B1k. 52; the west side
of Lots 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Blk. 57; the east side of Lots 1 end 8
of Blk. 58; the east side of Lots 1, 6, 7 and 8 of Blk. 69; the
west side of Lots 4 and 5 of Blk. 70; the west side of Lots 2, 4 and.
5 and the west side of the north 153 ft. of Lot 3, Blk. 75; and the

the purpose of providing for the operation, maintenence and patrol-
ling of arc lamps, is hereby confirmed, airs. the asseeJ ientr, made
and returned in said cimy:leted lists, and the report of the ho ird
of Equalization and iteview to the Board of Conrissi.onero of salt
