AN ORDINANCE AMENDING the "Recommended Wage and Salary
Administration Program for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees"
dated May 1969, as adopted by Bill No. 63 of 1969, amending
Section 25-4-5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah,
1965, by adding thereto the position of Radio Technician under
Pay Class No. 18 for non-civil service clerical and technical
employees and deleting from the civil service classification of
clerical and technical employees the position of Radio Operator
under Pay Class No. 15.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the "Recommended Wage and Salary Adminis-
tration Program for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees" dated
May 1969, as adopted by Bill No. 63 of 1969, amending Section
25-4-5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965,
be, and the same hereby is, amended as follows:
(a) Under the title covering "Clerical and
Technical" employees, there is added the position of
"Radio Technician" in the non-civil service classifi-
cation under Pay Class No. 18 with a salary range of
$616 to $778 per month.

(b) Under the title covering "Clerical and
Technical" employees, there is deleted the civil
service position of "Radio Operator" under Pay Class
No. 15.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of. the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance be effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
