An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property
on the west side of Third East Street between Seventh South and
p Eighth South Streets, in Sidewalk District No. 20, for the construe-

tion of a sidewalk.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:

SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and
proyide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described
abutting on the west side of Third Bast Street between Seventh South
h and:Eighth South Streets, in Sidewalk District No. 20.
[ This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a
sidewalk upon said ps tion of said street opposite the property
hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited by
said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and estab-
lished that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the
!, full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are
1 hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the
I, linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street fronting upon
I,
and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax
hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is one
hundred and eighteen and 80/100 ($118.80) dollars, or 18/100
1P0.18) dollars per front or lin ar fast, and the Treasurer is here-
! by authorised and empowered to assoss in accordance with the pro.-
' visions of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned,all of 1
lots 1 and 8, block 18, plat "A", Salt Lake City Survey, as the
same are shown upon the offioiai plate of said City to a depth of
1twenty-five (25) feet back from said street.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effe upon approval.
