Result __ 'AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 19, of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake
City, Utah, 1955, relating to intoxicating liquor, by adding to said title
a new chapter to be known as Chapter 3, relating to the closing hours for
the mixing, serving, and consumption of intoxicating liquor in or on
premises of non-profit corporations bonded and regulated pursuant to the
provisions of Title 16, Chapter 6, Utah Code Annotated, 1953.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1 . That Title 19, of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City,
Utah, 1955, relating to intoxicating liquor, be, and the same hereby is,
amended by adding to said title a new chapter to be known as Chapter 3,
establishing closing hours for the mixing, serving and consumption of in-
toxicating liquor in or on premises of non-profit corporations bonded and
Utah Code Annotated 1953, said Bhapter to read as follows:

"Sec. 19-3-I . It shall be unlawfui within the corporate limits
of Salt Lake City for any non-profit corporation bonded, regulated
and being operated pursuant to the authority of the provisions of
Title 16, Chapter 6, Utah Code Annotated, 1953, or for any agent
or employee thereof to serve or mix liquor on said corporate
premises or knowingly to permit members, guests or any other person
to consume liquor on said corporate premises, or for any person to
consume liquor on said corporate premises between the hours of
1:00 A.M. and 7:00 A.M. of any day."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is neces-
sary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City,
Utah, that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance. hall take effect upon its first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
27th day of July , 1960.
