AN ORDINANCE VACATING an alley located between 10th East and
McClelland Street near 8th South.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That the alley between 10th East and McClelland
Street near 8th South, and more particulary described as follows, be,
and the same hereby is, vacated and declared no longer to be public
property for use as a street, alley, avenue or pedestrian way:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 8,
Fremont Heights Subdivision, located in Block 4, Plat
"F", Salt Lake City Survey, and running thence west
216.04 feet; thence S. 14° 32' E. 12.40 feet; thence
east 212.93 feet, said point being the northeast corner
of Lot 11 of said Block 8 of said subdivision, thence
north 12.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of
way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description
now located in, on, under or over the confines of the above described
property; and also subject to the rights of entry thereon, for the
purpose of inspecting, maintaining, replacing, removing, altering or
rerouting said utilities and all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the
inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, -
this 7211 day of November, 1969.
