Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Section 264 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to oellarways or areas, by striking
out a portion of said section, and amending another portion thereof.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 264 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City of 1913, relating to cellarways or areas, be, and the
same is hereby amended by striking out the following words contained
in the second paragraph of said section, at the end thereof, to-wit:
"And in no case shall excavations be made nearer the curb than
four feet."
And by changing the following words at the end of said paragraph:
"Nor shall any stairway or passage leading into such area or
vault be more than four feet wide, measured from the property Line",
so as to read:
"Nor shall any stairway or passage leading into such area or
vault be more then four and one-half feet wide, measured from the
property line".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shallshall_take, effect one d after its
first publication.
