AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Schedules 2-b and 2-c referred to in Section 117
of the Traffic Code of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965,
relating to speed limits.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Schedule 2-b referred to in Section 117 of the Traffic
Code of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to
thirty-five miles per hour speed limit, be, and the same hereby is, amended
to read as follows: '
DELETE: "Sunnyside Avenue between 14th East
and the east city limit."
ADD: "Main Street between 9th South and
the south city limit."
"West Temple between 9th South and
the south city limit."
SECTION 2. That Schedule 2-c referred to in Section 117 of the Traffic
Code of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to
forty miles per hour speed limit, be, and the same hereby is, amended by
adding to said schedule the following:
"Sunnyside Avenue between 14th East
and the east city limit."
SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary
to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that
this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 13th
day of October, 1965.
