Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 25-7-5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to physical examinations, be, and the
same hereby is, amended as follows:
(1)* * *
(2) Post.-employment physical . Each officer and employee who
is a sworn Peace officer or who is in the combat division of the
fire department shall he required to submit to an annual physical.
examination to ascertain fitness to continue in the same class or
type of employment. Every other officer and employee shall be
required to submit to an annual physical examination as required
by his department head.

SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the
inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
