AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER XXIII, Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City* Utah, 1920, by adding in and to said Chapter a
new Section to be known as Section 1137, relating to curb service
stations.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Chapter XXIII, Revised Ordinances of
Salt lake City, Utah, 1920, be and the same is hereby amended by
adding in and to said chapter a new Section to be known as Section
1137, relating to curb service stations, to read as follows:
Sec. 1137. CURB SERVICE STATIONS. On and after
the effective date of this ordinance no permit shall be
issued to install any underground or other tank for the
storage of petroleum, gasoline, benzine, naphtha, distillate,
or other products of petroleum or hydro-carbon liquids, or
for the location or installation of any gasoline pump,at the
curb or within the sidewalk or street areas of any street in
• Salt Lake City,
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty-one
days after its passage.
