AN ORDINANCE VACATING a portion of Delaware Avenue and the alley
running north from said avenue, all abutting property owners having
petitioned for the vacation.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah;
SECTION 1 . That a portion of Delaware Avenue and the alley running
north from said avenue, more particularly described as follows, be, and
the same hereby is, vacated and declared no longer to be public property
_ for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way.
_m m Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 5, Block 18, Folsom's
bo Addition, thence East along the North line of Delaware Avenue
o'o to a point where the said North line intersects the North-

o • I westerly along said boundary to the South line of Delaware
o Avenue, thence West to the Northwest corner of Lot 10, Block 1 ,
of Folsom's Addition, thence North 66 feet to the point of
o beginning. Also a portion of an alley, in Folsom's Addition,

br corner, Lot 5, Block 18, Folsom's Addition, thence North 125
feet to the Northeast corner, Lot 9, Block 18, Folsom's

4, Block i8, Folsom's Addition, thence South 125 feet to the
Southwest corner, Lot 4, Block 18, Folsom's Addition, thence
a West 15 feet to the point of beginning, ail In Section 23,
Township 1 North, Range 1 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of
u way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description now
located in, on, under or over the confines of the above described property;
and also subject to the rights of entry thereon for the altering or rerout-
ing said utilities and all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and safety of the Inhabitants of Salt Lake
City, Utah, that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
day of August, 1960.
