Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTIOO: 1. That Section 6 of an ordinance entitled "An ordi- • nance providing for the issuance of bonds for corporate purposes for eipt!t hundred thousand (0800,000.00) dollars", passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Territory of Utah, March 30, 1894, and approved by the Mayor, '_"-arch. 31, 1894, as amended by an ordinance entitled "An ordinance amendin,- an ordinance entitled "An ordinance • providing for the issuance Of bonds for corporate purposes for eight hundred thousand ($800,000.0o) dollars", passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Territory of Utah, on the 27th day of April, 1894, and approved by the Mayor on the 28th day of April, 1894, be, and the same is hereby amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows: SECTION 6. For the purpose of providing for the payment of the interest on said bonds as the scene shall become. due, the sum of twenty thousand (S20,000.00) dollars semi-annually, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated accordingly. • At or before the maturity of said bonds, funding bonds shall be, and are hereby authorized to be issued in place of we and sold or exchanged to supply moneys or means to meet said ' -2- maturing bonds, and the proceeds of said funding fonds are hereby appropriated and set apart as a sinking fund for the payment of the principal of said maturing bonds when the same shall fall due. SECTION 2.
