An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property!
in l.lontrose Avenue, which extends east from Second hest Street
betmeen Seventh South and Ei hth South Streets, in Sewer District
No. 2, for the construction of a sewer.

Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioner; of Sot Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt LCke City

1 does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the

1 same upon the property hereinafter described in Sewer District No.
2, for the construction of a sewer, to-wit:

In Lots 3 and 8, Block 13, Pitt ".\", Slit Lake City Survey,

abutting on both sides of l..ontrose Avenue, w}.ich extends east from
Second Test Street bell een Seventh South and Eighth South Streets.
I • This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a
vititfied pipe sewer eight (8) inches in diameter upon the portions
of saidstreet opposite the property hereinbefore End hereinafter
! describe-d to be especially affected and benefited by said improve-
ment, and it is hereby adjudged, determined cad established that
said property •rill be especially benefited thereby to the full
amount of the tax hereby levied, End said parcels of lend are here- '

dated the 31st clay of July, 1913, and the Treasurer is hereby
authorized and directed to assess, in accordance with the provi-
sions of this ordinance, for the purpose herein mentioned:
The north sidd of the east 200 feet of the south 72 feet of
Lot 3, the south side of the east 181.5 feet of the north 68.5 feet
of Lot 3, the south side of the we et 165 feet of the north 68.5
feet of Lot 8, the north side of the nest 165 feet of the south 72
feet of Lot 8, all in block 13, Plat "A", Sclt Luke City Survey,
Es the same are ah_onm upon the official plate of said city to a
depth of twenty-five (25) feet back from said street., and to
collect said tax.
FCI01 2. Said tax shall become and be delinquent in five
equal yearly installments, with interest on the whole sum unpaid
at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable at the time each I II
installment is due, to-wit: One-fifth thereof one year after the •
ordinance confirming the levy of the tax for the payment for such
improvement becomes effective; one-fifth thereof in two years
after said ordinance becomes effective; one-fifth thereof in three
years after said ordinance becomes effective; one-fifth thereof inl
four years after said ordinance becomes effective; and one-fifth
thereof in five years after said ordinance becomes effective. One
or more installments, in the order in which they are payable, or
the whole erecial tax, may be paid et any time within thirty days
after the ordinance confirmin, the levy of the tax become;: effect •

ive, without interest. In the event of any installment or the
interest aforesaid not beinre on the date the same becomes due,
the whole amount of the special tax unpaid at the time said instal -

ment and interest are due, shall become due and payable, and shall
draw interest et the rate of eight per cent per annum until the
I sale of the property assessed; provided, one or more installments,
in the order in welch they are payable, or the whole special tax

unpaid, may be paid on the day any inat 11mcnt becomes due, by
