Gillespie, former Super'7isor of 1 Streets & Irrigation of Salt Lake City. has departed this life; and WHEREAS, it is fitting that this Board recognize the conscientious work and splendid service rendered to Salt .Lake City by Mr. Gillespie in the'performance of his duties; now therefore BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners take this occasion to express on behalf of the municipality, its deep appreciation of his devotion to duty as a public servant, his loyalty as a friend, and his kindness of heart and justice to all tnose under his supervision. In his death Salt Lake City has lost one of its most efficient and valued servants and his associates a true friend. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution be Ispread upon the minutes of the Board and that a copy be forwarded to the family of William P. Gillespie.
