Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of April, 1924, Henry W.
Lawrence departed from this earthly existence; and
WHEREAS, it is proper and fitting that the Board of
Commissioners of Salt Lake City, representing the people of
this community, do make official record of its appreciation
of the splendid character and public service of this
distinguished citizen; and
WHEREAS, in the death of Henry W. Lawrence, the
State has lost a worthy and respected citizen, one whose life
work was devoted to public service and to the upbuilding of
• tote State, and whose honesty and firm adherance to the right
was never questioned; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners of
•
Salt Lake City extends to the family of Henry W. Lawrence its
sincere condolence because of the death of this good man; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread
upon the official minutes of the Board of Commissioners and that
an engrossed copy be sent to the family of the deceased.
