Result
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of January, 1934, Harry L.
Finch completed practically ten years service as City Commissioner
of Salt Lake City, Utah, and
WHEREAS, during all that term of office he has been in
charge of the Department of Parks and Public Property of Salt Lake
City, Utah, and
WHEREAS, during his term of office he has conscientiously,
unselfishly and without fear or favor handled the affairs of the
department over which he presided, and in addition thereto, he has
aided and counseled the Board of Commissioners with his judgment,
business ability and acumen in all matters of government coming
before the board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, that a vote of thanks be,
and hereby is extended to Harry L. Finch for his untiring and unsel-
fish efforts to give the citizens and tax payers of Salt Lake City
an efficient, honest and useful form of government, and his cheer-
ful and sincere efforts to aid and assist his fellow members of
the Board of Commissioners in their work of governing, and
BE I`T FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners
extends to Harry L. Finch its best and sincere wishes that he may
continue to have a successful and pleasant career in the pursuit
of health and happiness, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread
upon the minutes of the Board of Commissioners to be a permanent
tribute of duties well and faithfully performed;
