A RESOLUTION
'.HERdA3, the ex-service organizations of Salt Lake
County are sponsoring plans to build a civic flagpole 7Lt feet
high and a granite monument ueoicuted to the Salt "ake City school
children; and
s:L;REAd, the Salt Lake City Board of Education pro-
poses to raise funds by accepting conations of fifteen cents from
each school child; and,
YHEREAS, the cost of building said flagpole anc eor.-
ument will be exclusive of land, end whereas it is desirable to
place the same on the grounds of the City and County Building.
