GhWREAS, Salt Lake City is situated in an area with a limited water supply and for many years it was plagued with insufficient culinary water in low water cycles and, EN�REAS, George D. Yeyser was a commissioner of Salt Lake City in charge of water supply and waterworks. When in 15314 an acute shortage of water occurred, through the wisdom., forsight, teracitr ar.d nersorvcrance of iir. Kayser, a number of pump wells wore installed which immediately nave an adequate supply of good culinary water for the use of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City and has ever since been a standby guarantee for a continuously adequate flow of culinary water. WHFRFAS, Salt Lake City was and is a ?rowing community constantly needing a larger and more adequate supply of culinary water. This problem too was foreseen by Mr. Keyser while serving as commissioner of Salt Lake City and through his training as en engineer, expertenoe in business, forsight, courage and determination, he was one of the leaders in causing to come into existence the ?ietropolitan water District Law and the Deer Creek Reservoir & Aqueduct, which is now completed and brings to fruition the many years of labor and devotion to duty given by Commissioner Keyser and his associates, the City is adequately supplied with water for its present and its foreseeable future needs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'T RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City in its behalf and in behalf of the citizens of this City that recognition of and tribute to the high quality of the life and character and services performed to Salt Lake City by the Honorable George D. Feyser are hereby expressed and may his years be many to enjoy the fruits of his labors, which Two. he has so richly earned.
