WHEREAS, on the 16th day of February, 1958, Patrick H. Goggin
departed this life; and
WHEREAS, during his long residency in the City of Salt Lake,
he rendered high and distinctive service to this Community as a
leader in State, Civic and Business affairs, serving eight years
as Commissioner of Salt Lake City in charge of the Parks Department:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, in its behalf and in behalf of the citizens of
this City, that recognition of and tribute to the high quality of
the life and service of Patrick H. Goggin are hereby expressed.
And there is hereby extended to his family the sincere symnathy
of this Board and of the citizens of this community.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon
the minutes of the Board of Commissioners and an engrossed copy
thereof be conveyed to the family of Patrick H. Goggin.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
