RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, for the past 30 years Louis E. Holley has served
Salt Lake City as City Auditor and City Commissioner; and
WHEREAS, his term of office as City Commissioner has expired
and his service to Salt Lake City as an elected official has
terminated; and
WHEREAS, during his long tenure of office as an elected
official of Salt Lake City he has rendered devoted and efficient
service, constantly keeping in mind the best interests of the City
and its inhabitants in the administration of his office and in the
discharge of his duties; and
WHEREAS, the City and its residents have greatly benefited
from his diligent and faithful service:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that said Board does hereby express, as
individual members of said Board, and in behalf of the residents
of Salt Lake City, sincere and deep gratitude and appreciation
for the devoted and able service which Mr. Holley has rendered
during his tenure of office as City Auditor and City Commissioner.
The Board hereby extends its best wishes to him for continued
happiness and satisfaction in the work that lies ahead of him.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver to Mr. Holley
a copy of this resolution.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 4th day of January, 1968.
