RESOLUTION
Result
OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Meldo F. Dixon has served as Inspector of Water
Mains since January 1, 1955 and as Maintenance Man since 1938;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Dixon will retire from his position as Inspector
of Water Mains effective December 31, 1971; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Dixon has faithfully and diligently performed
his duties with the City for 33 years; and
WHEREAS, Salt Lake City and its residents owe him a debt of
gratitude for his devoted service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it does hereby express to Mr. Dixon
its sincere and deep appreciation for his faithful service to the
City and its inhabitants. Said Board further extends to him its
best wishes for a long and enjoyable retirement period.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of
this Resolution to Mr. Dixon.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 5111 day of January, 1972.
