and for his chairmanship and member-
ship of various civic committees and
agencies, and wishing him success
and happiness in the years to come.

OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Conrad B. Harrison has served the residents of Salt Lake
City and the State of Utah as a public servant for more than fourteen
years; and
WHEREAS, he has served as chairman of the Utah State Institute
of Fine Arts; Chairman of the Utah Agencies; member of the Airport
Advisory Council; member of the Salt Palace Board; Chairman of the
Redevelopment Agency and is also a member of the Wasatch Front Regional
Council; and
WHEREAS, he has served diligently and faithfully since June 15,
1960 as a Salt Lake City Commissioner over the Water Department and
later over the Department of Parks and Public Property which includes
all parks, playgrounds, golf courses, Salt Lake City International
Airport and property management and street lighting for the City of
Salt Lake; and
WHEREAS, he has served with distinction and honor as Mayor of
Salt Lake City since January 7, 1975; and
WHEREAS, he has performed all of his services for the citizens of
Salt Lake and the citizens of the State of Utah in a diligent, faithful
and untiring manner such as to give credit to Salt Lake City, its office
employees and friends.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City that it does hereby express on its own behalf and on
behalf of the citizens of Salt Lake City, its most sincere and deepest
appreciation to Conrad B. Harrison for his many years of devoted and
dedicated service as a Salt Lake City Commissioner and Mayor of Salt
Lake City, and for his chairmanship and membership of various civic
committees and agencies. The Commission also, for itself and on behalf
of the citizens of Salt Lake expresses its heartfelt thanks and gratitu
and best wishes for success and happiness in the years to come.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be delivered
to Mr. Conrad B. Harrison.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City this 5th
day of January, 1976.
