WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Board of Commissioners declared its
intention to create Lighting District No. 10-56 on the 9th day of
November, 1976; and
WHEREAS, said Notice of Intentioncas published first on November
13, 1976, second, on November 20, 1976, third, on November 27, 1976,
and last on December 4, 1976; and that said Notice was mailed, postage
prepaid, to each owner of the property to be assessed within the
Special Improvement District at his last known address as said address
appeared on the last completed real property assessment rolls of Salt
Lake County, and also sent to "owner" at the street number of each
piece of improved property to be assessed; and
WHEREAS, protests respecting the creation of said Special Improve-
ment District were considered by the Board of Commissioners on December
12, 1976;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that inasmuch as the frontage protested amounts
to 100.24 feet of the total frontage of 4,925.462 front feet, or a
total percentage of frontage protested of 2.04%, the protests are
hereby deemed to be insufficient to require any change or alteration
in the district as proposed, and, accordingly, this Board does hereby
create said district and does hereby authorize the City Engineer
to proceed with this project as described in the Notice of Intention.
