Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, it is desirable that all news stands now upon
the Streets of Salt Lake City pursuant to permission heretofore
given by the Board of Commissioners, pursuant to the provisions
of Section 1204 as amended, be removed from said streets; and
WHEREAS, The Board of Commissioners does not care to
avail itself of the provisions of said ordinance permitting the
Board to allow any such stands upon the streets of Salt Lake City
within the district named:
WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That all permits heretofore
issued and granted by the Board of Commissioners for newstands
upon the streets of Galt Lake City within the district named in
said section 1204, be, and the same are, hereby revoked, such
revocation to be effective dept,, 1, 1916; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Recorder be, aid
he hereby is, instructed to notify in writing each person holding
such permit from the Board of Commissioners and operating snob
news stands, of this action of the Board and that—they will be
• quired to remove their stands from the streets of Salt Lake City
on or before said Sept.:t2,, 1916.
