WHEREAS, Grover Cleveland Bray departed this life
Friday, May 26, 1944; and
WHEREAS, for the past thirteen years he was an nonored
and respected member of Salt Lake City Police Department, faith-
fully and efficiently performing the various duties assigned to
him,and by reason of such service he contributed measurably to
the safety and well being of the inhabitants of this city for
which the Board of Commissioners, for itself and in behalf of the
citizens of this city, are deeply grateful and appreciative.
NOV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commission-
ers of Salt Lake City for and on behalf of said Board 1 of the
citizens of said city that said Board does hereby express ublic-
ly its appreciation for the long and faithful service which Mr.
Bray rendered to the city and hereby extends its sympathy and con-
dolence to his family; that a.n engrossed copy of this resolution
be conveyed to the surviving family of Grover Cleveland Dray.
BE IT FURTHER ELSOLVFD that this resolution be spread
upon the minutes of the Boarc;. of Commissioners.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
