RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Alex Sneddon was employed by Salt Lake City in
its Street Department for the past 46 years and has now volun-
tarily retired from further employment; and,
WHEREAS, during his long tenure of employment he has
rendered faithful and competent service to Salt Lake City thereby
contributing to the convenience and welfare of the city:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY that said Board does hereby express to Alex
Sneddon, on behalf of the city administration and the residents
of Salt Lake City, sincere thanks and appreciation for his devoted
and faithful service while in the employ of the city.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of
this resolution to Mr. Sneddon.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this 4th day of May, 1967.
