/ OF CONDOLENCE
WHEREAS, Rita M. Beesley was appointed Secretary to the City Recorder
February 9, 1956; and
WHEREAS, Rita M. Beesley faithfully and efficiently fulfilled her duties
in such a manner that she was promoted to Chief Deputy City Recorder on
September 15, 1956; and
WHEREAS, Rita M. Beesley faithfully and efficiently fulfilled her duties
as Chief Deputy until her retirement on October 31, 1968; and
WHEREAS, Rita M. Beesley was congenial to the public and met the heavy
demands of her job cheerfully and extremely competently; and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Salt Lake City benefited greatly from her
services; and
WHEREAS, Rita M. Beesley was loved and respected by her fellow
employees; and
WHEREAS, her fellow employees were saddened to learn of her passing
from this life.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, on behalf
of themselves, the employees of Salt Lake City Corporation and the citizens
of Salt Lake City,hereby express their condolences to the family of Rita M.
Beesley for the loss of their loved one.
