RESOLUTION .
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has furnished a list of
paving contracts completed in previous years upon which the guarantee
expires during this year; and
WHEREAS, a letter was addressed to P. J. Moran, contractor,
by the Engineering Department on July llth, 1913, enclosing a copy of
statement showing dates of expiration of the guarantee and notifying
him to proceed with the necessary repairs on the various streets
mentioned; and
WHEREAS, no reply has been received to this notification and
nothing has been done toward repairing these pavements; now therefore .
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners that P. J. fl
0,, / Moran, contractor, be notified to at once proceed with the repairs as
set out in statement furnished by the Engineering Departmelnt and as
may be marked out by said department .

In the matter of paving contracts com-
pleted in previous years, upon which the guarantee ex...
pires during this year, I beg to submit herewith a
list of such extensions, showing the date of expiration
of the guarantee.
On July llth, last, I addressed a letter
to Mr. P. J. Moran, enclosing a copy of this statement,
and notifying him to proceed with the repairs on the
various streets mentioned, under the direction of this
office. No reply has been received to this notifica-
tion, and apparently nothing has been done toward repair-
ing these pavements.
I would therefore respectfully recommend
that the Board of Commissioners take such action as they
see fit in this matter, and that the contractor be re-
quired to make such repairs as may be marked out by this
office.
