// OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Mr. George F. Stanley, Assistant Vice President of
Walker Bank and Trust Company, has served as a member of the Salt Lake
City Housing Authority for the past two years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Stanley has been transferred, by Walker Bank and
Trust Company, to Hobbs, New Mexico; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Stanley announced his resignation, effective
October 18, 1977, as a member of the Housing Authority; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Stanley has contributed many long and devoted hours
of service, without remuneration, to Salt Lake City and its residents;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Stanley has served with great distinction and
Salt Lake City and its citizens owe Mr. Stanley a great debt of
gratitude for his unselfish and diligent service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City that it does hereby express on its own behalf and
on behalf of the citizens of Salt Lake City, its most sincere and
deepest appreciation for the diligent service Mr. George F. Stanley
has provided. The Board further commends him for his dedication,
contribution and willingness to serve his community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be delivered
to Mr. George F. Stanley.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 10th day of November, 1977.
