S;HEREAS, the board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City desires
to purchase for the benefit of said city a revolving speeder shovel
with uragline attachment couplets with cables for use on the city dump,
and the Landes Tractor ant -_cuip-sent Company, a corporation, -ids oflerec
to sell the same to Salt Lake City for the price oereinaiter set forth,
said price being fair and just; and

SALT LASE CITS, a municipal corporation of the State of Utah,
hereby acknowledges itself to be indebted and for value received
promises to pay to the bearer the sub of Eight Thousand 48,000.00'
Dollars in lawful money of the United States of America, together
with interest thereon at the rate of four per cent (4%) per annum,
the principal and interest of said note payable at Salt Lake City,
Utah, on or before January 2, 1940.
