A RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUDGETS OF SALT LAKE CITY,
UTAH, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1963,
AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1964.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 24 of the Laws
of Utah 1961, the budget'officer of Salt Lake City has prepared and
filed with the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City tentative
budgets in proper 'form for all funds for which a budget is required
by said laws, including cash budgets for utilities for the fiscal
year July 1, 1963 'andending June 30, 1964, and accompanied the same
with a budget message as required by law; and
WHEREAS, said tentative budgets have been reviewed, considered
and tentatively adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah, at a regular meeting of said Board; and
WHEREAS, the tentative budgets as tentatively adopted, together
with all supporting schedules and data, have been available for public
inspection in the office of the City Auditor for a period of more than
ten (10) days as required by law; and
WHEREAS, at the meeting of said Board of Commissioners at which
said tentative budgets were adopted said Board fixed the time and
place of the public hearing to consider the adoption of the budgets
and ordered notice thereof be published as required by law; and
WHEREAS, notice of said public hearing to consider the adoption
of said budgets has been published as required by law; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing to consider adoption of said budgets
has been held in accordance with said notice, at which hearing all
interested parties were heard for and against the estimates of revenue
and expenditures or any item thereof in any fund as set forth in said

tentative budgets; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the final adoption of said
budgets have been accomplished:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the budgets attached hereto and made a part of
this resolution, which include the cash budget for each utility fund,
be, and the same hereby are, adopted as and for the budgets of Salt
Lake City, Utah, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1963, and
ending June 30, 1964, in accordance with requirements of Chapter 24,
Laws of Utah 1961.
SECTION 2. That the budget officer be, and he hereby is, authorized
and directed to certify and file a copy of each of the said budgets with
the State Auditor as are required to be filed with that officer under
the provisions of Chapter 24, Laws of Utah 1961.
SECTION 3. That the budget officer be, and he hereby is, authorized
and directed to certify and file a copy of each of the said budgets in
the office of the City Recorder which shall be available for public
inspection at all times as required by Chapter 24, Laws of Utah 1961.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
