RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE
WHEREAS, LeRoy Christopher Berntson departed this life
on the 4th day of April, 1966; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Berntson was employed by Salt Lake City as
its weighmaster for the past twenty-five years, and during
his whole tenure of employment he served with fidelity and
efficiency; and,
WHEREAS, though he suffered from a great physical dis-
ability as a result of an accident he was always pleasant and
courteous to all with whom he came in contact in his work and
so rendered to Salt Lake City valuable service and was a most
creditable representative of the city:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that tribute and appreciation is hereby
expressed for the loyal and able services rendered by Mr. Berntson
to Salt Lake City and its citizens and for his contribution to
the effective administration in the department in which he served.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Commissioners do hereby
express deep sympathy to the family of Mr. Berntson.
The City Recorder is directed to transmit a copy of this
resolution to the family of Mr. Berntson.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 7th day of April, 1966.
