WHEREAS, Otto Haltiner has been employed by Salt Lake City
Corporation since March 17, 1950; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure of service in the Salt Lake City
Street ,_epartment, first as a levelman and now serving in the
capacity of Engineering Aide II, he has been diligent and efficient
in the discharge of his duties and assignments and has served
with fidelity and thoroughness, thus rendering valuable service
to Salt Lake City and its inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, Mx. Haltiner is now retiring from his employment
with the Salt Lake City Street Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY that it does hereby express to Otto Haltiner
sincere and deep appreciation for his faithful service to the
City and its inhabitants. Said Board further extends to him its
best wishes for a long, productive and enjoyable period of retire-
ment.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of
this resolution to Mr. Haltiner.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 26th day of February, 1970.
