S - •• Mg/ I move that the,Re lution be adopted. , / Agraz . . / Greif MU J c is . i H.•ensen Phillips �� t� Result �■ j % RESOLUTION rr, WHEREAS, Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Company is desirous of conveying their Salt Lake City Union Depot building located partly on the Third South Street right-of-way west of Rio Grande Street, to the State of Utah; and WHEREAS, the State of Utah is desirous of accepting such a conveyance; and WHEREAS, the title to the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad property on which the Union Depot is located is clouded by a rever- sion clause to Salt Lake City Corporation for that part of Third South covered by said depot; and WHEREAS, Salt Lake City Corporation is willing to quitclaim to the State of Utah their interest in said Third South right-of- way property with a right of reversion in the City if the State ceases using the property for State purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, as follows: That in the event the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Company conveys their interest in their Salt Lake City Union Depot, located west of Rio Grande Street partially on Third South right of way to the State of Utah, then Salt Lake City Corporation is willing and will convey to the State of Utah by quitclaim deed the property underlying the Union Depot building with a right of reversion in Salt Lake City Corporation should the State over cease using said building for Utah State Government purposes. / DATED this 29th day of Dec ber, 1977. • - /`l( ((7// ' TEMPORARY CHAIRMAN COMMISSIONER 0 S R L16�d/ry COMMISSIONER COC.4MIS
