'.7HEREAS, Joseph Lindsay, taamos County Commis-
sioner of Salt Lake County has departed this life, and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that this
Board recognize the splendid public service rendered
the County of Salt Lake, of which Salt Lake City is a part,
by Mr. Lindsay during his term of office; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City take this occasion to express on behalf
of the citizens of the municipality, their deep apprecia-
tion of his devotion to duty as a public servant, his
loyalty as a friend, and his kindness of heart and justice
to all those under his supervision. In his death Salt
Lake County has lost one of its most efficient and valued
servants and his associates a true friend.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be
spread upon the minutes of the Board and that a copy be
forwarded to the family of Joseph Lindsay.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Ut., this 1rd day of ugu , A. D. 1921.
