WHEREAS, toe Untrd'Sta; s through the War Assets
Administration has of"-ro. to sell to Salt Lake City, a municipal
corporation of _ e State of Utah, a tract of land within the Fort
Douglas Seservation for the sum of .:4 3,320.00 and has tendered to
Salt Lake City a deed thereto, said deed particularly describing
said tract and containing the terms and conditions under which
the same is made and delivered;
h07f THER3FORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commis-
sioners of Salt Lake City that the City purchase said tract of
land from the United States and pay therefor the said sum of
l8,320.00, and that Salt Lake City accept the said deed thereto
as tendered, and that the proper officers of Salt Lake City be,
and they hereby are, authorized and directed to draw the neces-
sary voucher and warrant for the payment of s •d sum to the
United States. /

In connection vit'h the delivery of the deed
to that portion of Fort Douglas which is to no to
Salt Lake City, it will be necessary that we have

authorizing. the accentance of the
deed br you in behalf of the City.
(2) The follc::irn inforn,,ti.on is required
after the deed is recorded: date of
recordation and the book and naee
number.
It is non expected that :essrs. Larson,
Gray and Schaklette,fron the hastineton Office of
'ear Assets, and L:essrs. Skeen, Thompson and Sederh.olm
(our local attorney) together with Brs. Skeen and
Yrs. Thompson, will arrive in halt Lake via the
Prospector at 8:15 Friday morning.
The deed has been nrenared and executed and
will be ready for delivery.
